All the stars for the Gem Theatre and its staff! In planning for our organization's annual conference, we had to make a last minute change to a new venue. The Gem was able to accommodate our event date and help us plan everything in record time. As an added bonus the building is gorgeous and unique, which made for a very memorable day! Julia's expertise, kindness, patience, and responsiveness were especially appreciated as we scrambled to pull everything together in mere weeks. A special acknowledgement to Mario, the A/V Director, for keeping everything running smoothly and for playing walk-up music for all our speakers - it certainly made for a fun event! A note about the food - everything was delicious; I'm still thinking about the warm muffins! Following the event, the feedback we received was that this was our best conference yet - and I know a big part of that was the venue, food, and level of service we received at the Gem Theatre.

We had our conference dinner at this place. The service and the food both were very good. They kept an eye on the dietary restrictions for the guests. The rock and roll during the dinner was a plus.

We had a rehearsal dinner at the Gem Theater and it was truly beautiful. The historic charm of this building really sets the tone, but the staff go above and beyond that. The service and food was perfect and our guests raved about it. We worked with Amber for planning and if I could give 6 stars I would. We then worked with Dylan week of and he was extremely responsive and always available. Thank you both for kicking off our wedding weekend the exact way we wanted!

I’m so happy I chose the Gem Theater for my husband’s 70th surprise birthday celebration. Amber’s expertise played a major part in the success of this event. This was my husband’s first birthday party and the best experience ever. There was not one complaint. The service the food the atmosphere was top notch. Natalie’s concern to final details also contributed to the success of the event. I am well pleased and will recommend the Gem Theater to everyone interested that I know. Thank you Amber and Natalie!

I had my engagement there around a month ago and want to say everything about the Colony Club is perfect. I worked with Amber Sharp and she was such a pleasure to work with. At first, I was worried about the planning since I was working with a short timeframe but Amber was EXTREMELY helpful, always so quick at responding and so patient. She guided me through everything from the big to the tiniest details and she never got sick of my many questions. I truly could not have asked for a better coordinator. On the day of the engagement, I was working with Dylan Conley who also went above and beyond. Dylan was so responsive (which was absolutely critical the day of the event). He made sure everything ran smoothly and was there the entire time overseeing things. This is in addition to the fact that the Colony Club has the the most beautiful venues in metro Detroit . 1000000/10 recommend
